Way back in Proto-Africa, we broke up into the different groups that would give rise to our modern ethnicities at some point – whenever that really was. Surprise. We spoke languages that were all related for a time, being descended from Proto-Global – the Original Tongues. The initial division came following disagreement about the directions we were to be heading in as a species etc. However, we still remained united and bound overall within one psychologically-delineated ecosystem of sorts for a long time. Once divided between preliminary ethnicities, we most likely lived separately but without total independence. We are instinctively communal, after all! Previously, I thought perhaps we might have lived together physically for much longer than we actually did, even after ethnic variegation emerged.
Some of us then turned against the Origino-Orientalesqueys (ancestors of today’s Orientalesques) for some reason, most likely because of their parasitism. They used to travel around within Africa nomadically, freeloading off the others. The Origino-Nostraticos rejected them, and began to torment the Orientalesques psychologically out of curiosity at first, but it soon became the first instance of mass human cruelty, led by the Origino-Nostraticos (now today’s Europeans). The Orientalesques were reduced to deprivation and famine by the trauma, having stumbled into an abyss. There was also presumably violence and even mockery from the Nostratics.
Over hazes of traumatisation and humiliation, the once gregarious Origino-Orientalesqueys retreated inwards and developed heightened senses along with self-awareness. Eventually the trauma forced them to break away psychologically fully from the others, leading them to invent a new type of language: the Language of Sensitivity, which went on to become the Orientalesque languages i.e. the Conceptual-Abstract Tongues. They used their heightened rationality to get back in favour with the others, who in due course got inspired to invent their own radical new primary language families.
The very first (sociopolitical hahaha) opinions were formed about what was happening to the Origino-Orientalesqueys who continued valiantly to do their nomadic rounds, and they were very much divided from group to group. The Nostratic tormentors obviously stayed committed to their malicious cause, while others were neutral and indifferent, and others felt discontent and even upset about the bizarre psychological changes that the nomads showed. The Proto-Blockfuls, in particular, were extremely perturbed by the psychological shift they had witnessed in the Orientalesques; today Blockful speakers are the people in the world who are most susceptible to psychological trauma. The agitation taught the fiercely bonded Blockfuls to look beyond the human realm.
The Blockfuls, then speakers of the Language of Brotherhood, befriended the nomadic Orientalesques. The Blockfuls’ kindness made the newly sensitivised Origino-Orientalesqueys decide to get their act together. They abandoned their naive nomadic ways, but not before they told the Blockfuls about the magnificent landscapes they had seen in what is now the Sinai Peninsula and beyond. Spiritual even then, the Origino-Orientalesquey nomads had assumed it was a sort of hell and immediately turned back, not daring to venture further. The Orientalesques’ spatial intuition had confirmed to them that either a) staying away or b) proceeding would be the best decision a human bean could ever possibly make. They in due course showed the Blockfuls to this place. The Blockfuls agreed to offer themselves up as sacrifices and proceed through the landscape. To this day Blockfuls are obsessed with hell.
Orientalesques #out, free of their sacred burden: it’s either happening or it’s not. The wandering Blockfuls were left to their own devices once they made it beyond the Arabian desert.
Upon branching out into Eurasia, we met the Neanderthals. Ironically, it wasn’t the Ancient Greeks who invented logicality: actually it was the broody enchanted Neanderthals in their attempts to get in with Homo sapiens. Although they were very neurologically inferior – don’t get confused about that.
The contrarian Proto-Blockfuls befriended some of the mighty Neaderthals out of sheer curiosity, who offered to show the former to travel across the world in exchange for etiquette advice to make sure they will make a good impression on the next humans they encounter; their spidey senses already told them a treat may be in store, regarding the Orientalesques whose hyper-sensoriality they could pretty much already smell. I don’t believe that Neanderthals had (much) language, so what the Blockfuls did to help them was visually demonstrate the fundaments of spatial reasoning, mastery of which we were all sticklers for. The Neanderthals duly showed the Blockfuls how to travel via their extensive inter-Neanderthal global network. The innovative Blockfuls were overcome quickly by wanderlust. They had become inclined to look beyond stringent human paleo-society for alternative life meaning, and they became “the original freestylers”, speaking “the Language of Freestyling”, which would of course give rise latterly to “the Blockful languages”, i.e. the Contrastive Tongues now spoken by Viets, Thai, southern Indians and Aboriginal Australians. Entertained, accommodated, guided and spurred by their Neanderthal partners in crime -between whose sparsely established populations throughout the world they tentatively hopped at first- the Blockfuls went off to traverse the world. They were the first humans to physically (geographically) break away and leave Africa. The Neanderthals should be most aptly renamed Homo navigatus 🙂
The Blockfuls didn’t only settle in South & South-East Asia and Oceania, where the Blockful-speaking populations of the world now reside; they also migrated to Europe, my research suggests to me. This grouping of Proto-Blockfuls were the wondrous Blockfuls – the Blockfuls who went to Thailand and Vietnam were the concessive Blockfuls; those who went to India were the sophisticated Blockfuls, and Aboriginal Australians are THE Blockfuls who inherited the original pure Proto-Blockful culture. The wondrous Blockfuls -those of the original group who were utterly adored by the others because of their charm and their piercing blue eyes- went on to become the very first human inhabitants of the British Isles, some ten thousand or so years ago, according to estimates. “Modern-day British [and European] people share approximately 10% of their genetic ancestry with the European population to which Cheddar Man belonged, but they aren’t direct descendants.” – according to the Natural History Museum. They were presumably mostly ravaged and slaughtered by the tribes we descend from mainly, who moved into the region later on (the Indo-European languages allegedly originate from the Pontic-Caspian Steppe in Eurasia according to the most widely accepted theory). In spite of whatever you may have dismissed the Blockfuls as, these were the wondrous Blockfuls first of all, and they indeed made for a mighty combination with Nostratic migrants. The dynamic Nostratic farmers targeted them simply for a hit, and it was in the aftermath of all this hustle that the determination to build great cultures was born. And thus “Europe” as we know and love it today was engendered.
